Austin Elopement Photographer

For couples who want a full-day elopement or micro wedding that feels beautiful, personal, and completely thought through.

Not a rushed ceremony. Not a courthouse appointment with prettier shoes. Not a tiny wedding that still somehow becomes everyone else’s event.

Somewhere between the guest list spreadsheet, the opinions, the seating chart politics, and someone suddenly caring deeply about napkin colors, a wedding can stop feeling like yours.

That is the problem.

You are trying to marry your person. Everyone else is somehow discussing chair rentals.

Your wedding can be quiet. Or bold. Or wildly romantic. Or a little ridiculous in the best possible way.

It can start with coffee at a private cottage in Wimberley, vows on pink granite at Enchanted Rock, dinner under oak trees, and photographs that make the whole day feel impossible to forget.

A wedding day designed around the two people actually getting married.

The Idea

Small does not mean thrown together.

Some couples want the ballroom, the guest count, the formal entrances, the family traditions, and the whole beautifully organized production.

And some couples read that sentence and immediately need a snack.

If that is you, nothing is wrong with you.

You can love your people and still not want your wedding day to become a customer service department for everyone else’s expectations.

You can want the dress, the flowers, the food, the location, the vows, the celebration, and the photographs without turning the whole thing into six months of managing opinions.

That is the kind of elopement and micro wedding experience I create.

Small, yes.

Random, no.

Casual in the “we forgot to plan half of it” way? Absolutely not.

This is a full wedding day, designed with care from beginning to end.

Who This Is For

For the couple who wants something beautiful, private, and actually theirs.

  • i.You want your wedding to feel intimate, but still incredibly special.
  • ii.You care about the location, food, flowers, wardrobe, photographs, and the feeling of the day.
  • iii.You would rather create one unforgettable experience than manage a large production.
  • iv.You want help figuring out where to go, what to book, who to hire, when to do everything, and what happens after the ceremony.
  • v.You want photographs that feel emotional and artful without turning the day into a performance.
  • vi.You want room to laugh, eat, wander, celebrate, and actually be together.
  • vii.You do not want to spend your first married day making sure everyone else is comfortable.

Meet Your Elopement Guide and Photographer

Hi, I’m Olesya.

I’m Olesya Redina, an Austin elopement photographer and owner of Zesty Orange Photography in Austin, Texas.

For more than 12 years, I have photographed people during the moments they really want to remember. Motherhood. Family. Boudoir. Branding. Legacy portraits. The seasons where people are emotional, nervous, excited, changing, celebrating, and usually convinced they are awkward in photos.

They are not hopeless.

They just need direction.

That is where I am very good.

I trained in Fine Arts at Pratt Institute in New York, and I have been voted Best Photographer in Austin five years in a row. My work is rooted in composition, emotion, color, movement, and a client experience where the details feel handled.

Now I am bringing that same full-service approach into my work as an Austin elopement photographer and intimate wedding designer.

Not just showing up with a camera. Helping you build the whole day so it feels like it belongs to you.

The Experience

Pretty is not the hard part. Making it feel like you is the hard part.

A beautiful location helps. A gorgeous dress helps. Good flowers definitely help.

But the real magic is in how the day is built.

Where you wake up. Where you say your vows. Who is there. What the light is doing. When you eat. How much time you have. Whether the whole day feels calm or like everyone is sprinting in formalwear.

I help design the experience so the day does not just look beautiful. It feels right while you are living it.

i.

Experience Design

We start with the feeling. Private ranch dinner. Wine country weekend. Quiet river house. Cottage elopement. Sunrise ceremony. European village. Desert escape. Hill Country luxury with oak trees, limestone, and golden light. Then we build around it: location, lodging, ceremony flow, vendors, styling, timing, activities, and photography.

ii.

Planning Support That Actually Helps

You are not handed a vague list of pretty places and wished the best of luck. I help source locations, recommend vendors, shape the timeline, think through logistics, and organize the visual direction so you are not planning a once-in-a-lifetime day from 47 browser tabs and a panicked notes app.

iii.

The Full Story, Photographed

Your elopement is not only the ceremony. It is the getting ready, the drive, the vows, the champagne, the dinner, the wind, the quiet moments, the unexpected laughter, and the look your partner gives you when nobody is asking them to pose. That is the story I photograph. Not just the “big moment.” The whole thing.

What is an elopement, actually?

e·lopev.

An elopement is not a lesser wedding. It is a more personal one.

The old idea of eloping was running away in secret. The new idea is much better.

An elopement is an intentional wedding experience centered on the couple instead of the expectations around them. It can be just the two of you, or include a few deeply loved people. It can happen at a private ranch, in wine country, at a luxury cottage, or somewhere far from Texas that only makes sense because it means something to you.

A micro wedding is similar, but usually includes a small guest list. Think parents, children, siblings, or a few close friends.

The point is not to make the wedding smaller. The point is to make it honest.

You still get the beauty, the flowers, the dress, the suit, the vows, the dinner, the celebration, and the photographs. You just do not have to build the day around everyone else first.

How It Works

A simple plan for a wedding day that feels like yours.

Step One

Inquire.

Tell me what you are dreaming about, even if right now it is mostly Pinterest screenshots, location maybes, and one very strong feeling of “not a traditional wedding, please.”

We will talk through your vision, timing, guest count, location ideas, and what kind of experience would feel right.

Step Two

Design the day.

Once your date is reserved, I help shape the full experience.

We narrow down the location, lodging, vendors, activities, styling, ceremony flow, light, travel logistics, and photography timeline. You will know where to be, when to be there, what to bring, and how the day will unfold.

Step Three

Get married your way.

On the day itself, you get to be present.

I guide what needs guiding, document what naturally happens, and as your Austin elopement photographer, I help keep the day moving without making it feel managed.

An Austin elopement photographer documents intimate wedding experiences in Austin and the Texas Hill Country. My approach also includes location ideas, vendor direction, styling support, timeline design, activity planning, and photography coverage for the full story of the day.
Do you travel for elopements outside Texas?
Yes. I design and photograph elopements, micro weddings, and intimate destination weddings across the U.S. and internationally.
Do you photograph Austin micro weddings?
Yes. I photograph and help design Austin micro weddings and Texas Hill Country micro weddings for couples who want a small guest list with a highly intentional experience.
Is an elopement only a courthouse wedding?
No. A courthouse ceremony can be an elopement, but that is not the experience I specialize in. I create full-day elopement experiences with beautiful locations, thoughtful details, and a real sense of celebration.
Where can we elope near Austin?
As an Austin elopement photographer working across the Texas Hill Country, my favorite locations include Enchanted Rock, Hamilton Pool Preserve, Fredericksburg wine country, Wimberley, private ranches, luxury rentals, private cottages, and private estates. Some locations require permits, reservations, or specific timing.
Can we include family or a few guests?
Yes. Some couples choose a just-us experience, while others include parents, children, siblings, or close friends. The key is that the day stays centered on the two of you.
How far in advance should we book an elopement photographer?
Reach out as soon as you begin considering an elopement or micro wedding. Earlier planning gives you more flexibility with locations, lodging, vendors, travel, and seasonal timing.
What if we are awkward in photos?
Most people think they are awkward in photos. I guide when direction is helpful and step back when the moment is unfolding naturally, so the photographs feel beautiful, connected, and real.
